Al-Ghodwa Group, a specialized materials handling company, has introduced a tailored warehouse solution for a cosmetics facility in Baghdad, addressing operational challenges caused by narrow aisle dimensions, height restrictions, and load capacity requirements.

The warehouse operates with aisle widths of 1,900 mm, a top beam height of 4,500 mm, and a maximum load requirement of 1,500 kg. After assessing site conditions, Al-Ghodwa Group proposed the electric Aisle-Master AM 20NE, a 2.0-ton unit supplied by Irish manufacturer Combilift, with a maximum lift height of 4,700 mm.

The solution was delivered in two units and included spare wheels and an external charger. According to the company, the recommendation offered a simpler, more practical, and more cost-effective alternative to advanced Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks.

The company noted that the warehouse layout and available space were not suitable for VNA operations, making the selected configuration a better fit for the facility’s real operational needs. It added that the most effective materials handling solution is not always the most complex, but the one best aligned with day-to-day requirements.
